Our Staff are trained in making life as consistent as possible for those living with a Dementia diagnoses
We understand the challenges that can present themselves for those affected by Dementia and are here to provide the necessary support to make things a little easier. We provide practical in-home support, and help with personal care if this is needed, whilst loved ones go out for a few hours and have some well-deserved time away. We also provide companionship and support out-with the home environment too. Visits are discussed and planned with Clients and their families in advance to ensure an enriching experience.
How We Tailor Our Dementia Support
Daily or weekly support as you need it
We provide a minimum of two hours support each visit therefore whether you need two or more hours support each day or just two hours support each week we will tailor your support plan to ensure your needs are met.
Our care services create a familiar and calming atmosphere
Continuity and routine are so important for those living with a Dementia diagnoses. We assign the most suitable member of staff to support your loved ones to ensure continuity of support and the reassurance of a familiar face.
Support for your daily needs as well as external activities
With our in-home support we provide companionship, engaging with interests and hobbies. Catching up on current affairs, using memory aids or providing support with preparing a meal to maintain day to day skills we focus on the individual. We also provide support out-with the home such as accompaniment to cafés, attractions and trips to the Cinema.
Many of our staff are qualified and experienced nurses
Our staff have backgrounds in care and support, many of whom have worked in community and ward-based care in various levels of nursing including mental health, and occupational therapy. Each team member brings with them knowledge and experience of delivering person centred care.
Our respite care services have been recognised for quality
As a Care Inspectorate Registered company, we are regulated and inspected to ensure that the quality of care and support we provide is safe, of high quality and meets your needs, rights and choices. We have received consistently high ratings from our annual inspections and regularly receive excellent feedback from our Clients and family members on the support provided.
